Before you visit us

Important information

Respect is important to us!

We want to provide you and your child or teenager with the best possible support and care. It is important to us that we take your worries and concerns seriously and work with you to find solutions. Our work therefore requires a high degree of empathy. We also offer you professionally sound support, with absolute discretion and confidentiality.

Accordingly, we also ask you to treat us with respect, as well as to show trust and openness, because only with your help can we understand your concerns and the symptoms within the context of your family situation and develop a treatment plan.

Please read the instructions on the registration form carefully and bring the following documents with you to your first appointment:

  • The child’s health insurance card (if you present the card, a referral from your paediatrician or GP is not required)
  • Completed registration form (if not already sent to us by post or email)
  • Yellow health record book
  • Maternity record book
  • Results of any examinations carried out to date (hospitals, special care centres, paediatricians, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, speech therapists)
  • In the case of separated parents with joint custody, we require a declaration of consent from the parent who is unable to attend the initial appointment
  • Please come (if possible) together (both parents) to the initial and final appointments

Please also note the following:

  • Please keep to the agreed appointments! We have reserved this exact time for you, thereby avoiding long waiting times. If you are late, this will reduce the time we can make available to you. We may need to arrange a new appointment.
  • Please do not send your child if they are ill, but do let us know in good time if this is the case. We will arrange a new appointment for you.
  • There are no parking spaces available at the practice. Please use public transport (for directions, see Contact).
